Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect personal information across our website, AI agents and services.
Last updated: October 10, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Verasail LLC ("Verasail," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit verasail.com (the "Website"), contact us, or use our AI agents, software, consulting, training and other services (the "Services"). It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
Verasail LLC is the controller of personal information collected through the Website and for our own business purposes. When we process Client Data on behalf of a client through our Services, we act as that client's processor or service provider, and the client's own privacy notice applies (see AI agents and client data).
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need for the purposes below. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
- Contact form and email. Your name, work email, company, role and the content of your message when you use our contact form (which opens your own email app) or email us.
- Client engagement data. Business contact details for client personnel, contract and billing details, meeting notes and project communications needed to deliver consulting, development and training engagements.
- Client data processed by AI agents. Data that clients choose to connect to or upload into our AI agents and frameworks, which may contain personal information about their employees, customers or others.
- Usage, cookies and analytics. Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and referring site, collected by our hosting provider's server logs and, if enabled, by analytics or similar technologies.
- Trading tool usage. If you use the Intraday Trading Analysis Suite, account and configuration details, watchlists, settings and usage logs needed to run and support the tool. We do not hold your brokerage funds or execute trades.
We may also receive business contact information from referrals, partners, events or publicly available professional sources.
3. How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and provide information you request.
- To provide, operate, maintain, secure and support the Services and deliver engagements under an order form or statement of work.
- To manage client relationships, invoicing, payments and contracts.
- To monitor and improve the Website and the Services, including troubleshooting and aggregate analytics.
- To send service and administrative messages and, where permitted, marketing communications (see Marketing communications).
- To protect against fraud, abuse and security threats, and to comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. AI agents and client data
When our AI agents process Client Data, we do so on behalf of the client and under our contract with them, following their documented instructions. In particular:
- We use Client Data only to provide, secure and support the Services the client has engaged us for.
- We do not use Client Data to train or improve AI models shared with other clients without the client's consent.
- Our Services are designed for human oversight, so client personnel can review, approve and correct AI outputs before they are relied on.
- Where third-party AI model or cloud providers are used, we engage them under terms that restrict their use of the data to providing the service to us.
If you are an individual whose information is included in a client's data, please contact that client first; we will assist them in responding to your request.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases: contract (to provide Services you or your organization have requested); legitimate interests (to run, secure and improve our business and communicate with business contacts, balanced against your rights); consent (for example, for certain marketing or non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (to comply with applicable law).
6. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed with:
- Service providers who act on our behalf, such as website hosting, cloud infrastructure, email and productivity tools, AI model providers, and payment and invoicing providers, under contracts that limit their use of the data;
- Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and auditors;
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, property or safety; and
- A successor business in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We may also share information with your consent or at your direction.
7. International transfers
Verasail LLC is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK or other regions with transfer rules, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here: enquiry correspondence for as long as the conversation is relevant, client records for the length of the relationship plus any period required for legal, tax or accounting purposes, and Client Data as set out in the client's contract. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls on a need-to-know basis, encryption in transit, and vetted service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires.
10. Cookies and tracking
The Website is a lightweight site and does not use advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may record standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and performance. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent first. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your information, subject to legal exceptions;
- object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it;
- data portability in a commonly used format; and
- opt out of marketing communications at any time.
California (CCPA/CPRA): California residents may request to know, delete and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. EEA/UK (GDPR): you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity, and we aim to respond within the time required by law.
12. Marketing communications
We may send business contacts occasional updates about our products, services and events where the law allows. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop at any time. We will still send essential service or account messages to clients.
13. Children
The Website and Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
14. Third-party links
The Website may link to third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to read; we are not responsible for them.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, give additional notice where appropriate, such as by email to active clients.
